She began her occupational path by studying acting for three years in NYC. Fascinated by movies, she went on to make short films herself, while also working on large feature film productions: as dialogue coach, casting director and directors assistant, among others. In her own short films she practiced all aspects, from script writing to directing actors to postproduction.
While making films she realized: the big, beautiful idea of a film is within the script!
She studied film history as a guest student at HFF Potsdam, and got an education as a screenwriter at Ars Nova, followed by script development at Masterschool Drehbuch, Berlin. Since 2008, she writes feature films, series, plays and webseries. Her focus is on comedy and drama.
Since 2017, Paula implements her broad spectrum of tools as an actress, director, casting agent and screenwriter in acting business coachings and workshops. Using a versatile range of methods, she supports our clients to gain authentic expression, and to develop engaging dramaturgy in presentations and speeches. She works in English and German.
